Paper Polypropylene Axial Capacitor


We are offering our clients, Paper Polypropylene Axial Capacitor - FMD 52. These capacitors have self healing property and are oil impregnated that offers good corona resistance. Moreover, the capacitors have coils that are non-inductively wounded and mineral oil impregnated.

Specifications:

  • Dielectric: Polypropylene + Paper
  • Electrode: Aluminum Foil
  • Leads: Brass stud
  • Construction: Aluminum can + Blue PVC Sleeve, stud insert moulded plastic end caps

  • Dissipation Factor <= 0.005 at 1KHz at 25C (Typical Value 0.001)

Applications:

For forced commutation of SCRs such as in inverters and choppers these capacitors are ruggedly designed to carry heavy currents. They employ a non-inductively wound oil impregnated paper polypropylene mixed dielectric coil with aluminium foil as electrode. Encased in aluminium can and offered in axial threaded screw terminals, these are generally popular in values from 0.1 υF to 2 µF and in voltage rating of 1200 VAC. A special construction feature provides for an explosion proof performance through the means of an open circuiting of the element when
excessive current flows through the capacitor under fault conditions.

Polyproplyne Metallized Paper Capacitor


We are offering our clients, quality Polyproplyne Metallized Paper Capacitor - MKP 71. These capacitors are ruggedly constructed using aluminum and have a threaded stud for mounting. Appreciated for international quality standards, these capacitors have a self healing capacity, which ensures long life even under occasional over-voltage conditions. Moreover, our Metallised capacitors are used as commutation capacitor for positive quenching of thyristors and as smoothing capacitor for D.C. circuits.

We are offering our clients, quality Polypropylene Metalized Paper Capacitor - MKP 52. These capacitors are oil impregnated that provides good corona resistance and have electrodes with double metallised paper. Moreover, these capacitors are used as snubbers in circuits designed with power semiconductors and offer a self healing property.
